Prince Squash Club Annual Dinner 2010

Prince Squash Club Annual Dinner 2010 dated 06/02/2010 located at La La Cheong Restaurant.

I remember few of us, jeff, anthony, tm and me have decided the Annual Dinner's date during our Phuket trip in end December 2009. Everything went smoothly and finally we have 11 squash members able to join in for the Prince Squash Club Annual Dinner.

The restaurant been selected at early stage shall be located at seri kembangan, however some of us, (me, actually, hehe) disagreed with the location and Jorrad has proposed La La Cheong located at Ara Damansara. All agreed.

And all agreed to wear red shirt for the Annual Dinner. In fact, I did not involved much in all the detailing and / or arrangement made for the dinner as I was back to Kuching after the Phuket Trip. I only get to know some information thru ym with some of the squash members.

As most of the squash player are good drinker, therefore, Jarrod has bought 3 bottles of red wines, cost RM 120.00, Marcus sponsor Chivas Whisky, Jeff further sponsor 1 bottle of Red Wines and Absolut Vanilla Vodka from me.

The dinner was fun and we have great time together there. Foods are delicious, except they served the foods a bit slow. Yes, can't blamed them as the restaurant is having great business on that night. We started the dinner around 8pm and finished at 11pm+ after many many rounds of wine and whisky.

The total cost = Foods RM 400 + Wines RM 120 = RM 520.00

Appreciated Hank came all the way from Singapore just to attend the Annual Dinner and depart to Singapore on the next morning. Many thanks to Jeff / Jorrad / Anthony / TM who have put in effort to arrange the Dinner and others who have attended the Annual Dinner.

Maria Sharapova was upset by Maria Kirilenko 7-6(4), 3-6, 6-4 in the 1st round of the Auatralian Open 2010.

Never her fan before but still feel bad for her.

This is really unfortunate for her, worst performance at Grand Slam since 2003

Some said, her outfit was ugly ...... to me, YES

Double dud: Maria Sharapova and her new dress flop in Australia
By Chris Chase

Maria Sharapova was the talk of day one at the Australian Open even before her upset loss to Maria Kirilenko. The Russian beauty, whose signature has yet to dry on a $70 million contract extension with Nike, debuted a new dress for her first (and only) match at the first Grand Slam of 2010. Reviews were on par with Sharapova's disappointing performance on the court:

Busted Racquet: "The chiffon-thingy makes her look like The Little Mermaid circa 1968. Either that or Lillian Gish."

Busted Racquet's fashion plate friend: "It's bad camo negligee."

Forty Deuce: "I'm thinking it was cross-marketing."

Opponent Maria Kirilenko: "It was blue, I think, like POWERade."

Selected reaction from Twitter: @paulavergara: "I'm guessing Sharapova signed off on her dress design over the phone/sight unseen."

@GoToTennis: "As much as I hate Sharapova being upset in the first round - I'm relieved that her dress is out of the tournament."

@ant_cee "Sharapova's AusOpen dress looks like she got caught in some curtains en route to the court."

@exodusrex: "uhm...i was pulling for sharapova tonight, but there's 1 upside to her loss: i don't have to see that dress again."

@alejrocha: "She crashed into a peacock."

@TruBlu: "that hideous dress was a portent of things to come."
